Sunrise Beach Lodge is a modern air conditioned
and fully screened double storey quality residence with absolute
beach frontage. All rooms from the lodge command extensive ocean and island
views.
With two large living areas furnished with comfortable modern décor
there is ample room to relax and put your feet up or make use
of our extensive modern facilities including a comprehensive CD/DVD library
and satellite TV. If the need arises to contact the outside world
we have Internet and Phone/Fax facilities in house (conditions
apply).
To take advantage of our view we have an outdoor patio and an upstairs
balcony both overlooking the beach and the spectacular Frankland
Islands. Don’t be surprised if your view is interrupted by some
of the local wildlife and birdlife that visit from time to time.
The two large (approx 6 x 3mtr) guest Bedrooms comprise private bathrooms,
separate reading area, and ocean views. One bedroom is located on
the top floor and one on the ground floor. Both guest bedrooms also
command ocean views.
The sleeping configuration of each guest bedroom is 1 x Queen, 1
x Double, 1 x single bunk bed. There is a concertina ‘privacy’ wall
that can slide over to separate the bedroom into two smaller rooms,
giving two 3m x 3m rooms. Sunrise Beach Lodge caters to a maximum
of eight guests. You can either book the whole lodge if you prefer
exclusivity.
Meals are included in your package and are prepared in our modern
fully equipped kitchen by your friendly hosts. Most of our herbs and
spices are grown in-house without chemicals.
We also make use of the local seafood that is so abundant and quite
often freshly caught in the area.
Menus can be customised from our booking sheets to suit your tastes
and please do not be afraid to ask for any special dietary requirements.
The home-style cooking offers a variety of dishes covering many nationalities
and tastes.
For that special occasion or celebration, when something different
may be sought, we can arrange for one of our special guest chefs to
prepare something just a little different.
Sunrise Beach Lodge can also cater for small functions, conventions
and wedding parties, or other special occasions.
Sunrise Beach Lodge caters to groups, couples, individuals
or families and is available on a “exclusive” or “share” basis.
Although children are welcome they must be over 12 years of age and
supervised by an Adult. Generally, ‘exclusive hire’ arrangement
is the best option for families.
There is a minimum stay of two nights, but it is advisable to stay
longer to experience this tropical paradise and all it has to offer.
We recommend one day exploring the waterfall and rock pools, one day
exploring the rainforest and rivers, one day snorkelling the Barrier
Reef and one day visiting local tourist attractions. We are ideally
situated to take advantage of the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics
rainforests (both world heritage listed nature parks). We can put
together a recommended package holiday for you, based on your requirements.
